Spill Kits

KN Services offers a range of spill kits, which come in standard off-the-shelf specification or tailor-made to suit clients individual needs. Standard kits comprise:-

Cab Kit – for where space is at a premium, this small kit contains absorbent pads and socks to deal with and contain a minor spillage, ‘Dammit’ plugging compound to temporary seal damaged pipes, drums, etc, and disposal bas with basic ppe. Ideally suited for digging machines.

Spill Kit – for storage in vehicles and workshops, a spill kit contained in a zipped pvc holdall, providing a mixture of absorbent pads, socks and cushions, together with a Dammit slab, disposal bags and ppe. The contents allow minor spillages on land or water to be contained. Ideally suited for works vehicles.

Spill Kit Bin – a 240 litre wheelie bin holding a range of absorbent pads, cushions, socks and booms to contain and clean-up spills on land or water. Kit also includes Dammit mats for drain protection, Dammit slabs to plug damaged drums, stakes, disposal bags, ppe and a bio-remediation product contained in a hand sprayer. Ideally suited for construction sites.

A range of chemical spill kits, similar to the above are also available.Note: the effectiveness of a spill kit is only measured by the individuals understanding of how to use the contents of the kit property. Spill kit training should always be considered.
