Absorbents

KN Services offers a wide range of oil absorbents ready for immediate despatch throughout the UK. Materials stocked have, through the work the company undertakes, been proven to be the best on the market for offering efficiency of use and value for money.

Rolls and Pads – multi-purpose absorbent material for instantly uplifting oil on land or water. As with all oil absorbents, water resistant so to float on the water’s surface collecting only oil. Pads can be used as wipes and rolls torn to suitable lengths as required. Materials dyed blue to show immediate oil uplift.

Cushions – absorbent pillows ideal for placing under dripping machinery, placing inside road gullies or, with the attachment of a rope in it’s eyelet, dropping into interceptors or deeper manholes.

Socks and Booms – a variety of lengths and diameters of containment barriers for stopping the spread of oil on land or water. The smaller socks designed for land based spills around leaking machinery, booms for location on watercourses. Booms can be easily joined together to form longer containment lengths to suit requirements.

Woodfibre and Zorb – multi-use wood based absorbents for the uplift of oil. Woodfibre best suited for long term absorption of water based spillages or removal of oil sheen, and Zorb, for land spills (a more eco-friendly alternative to clay granules).
