Oil Clean-up Specialists-Scotland

In addition to our response work, KN Services offers a range of other services:-

Site Visits – free site visits can be undertaken to assess basic oil spill risks on site and provide recommendations for spill kit and containment measures. More detailed oil spill risk assessment audits can also be undertaken to suit individual client’s requirements.

Hazardous Waste Disposal – operating a licensed transfer station and holding duty of care, we can undertake the uplift and disposal of waste oil and oil contaminated materials. 200ltr clip bins for the storage of oil contaminated materials can be provided as part of our waste collection service.

Anti-pollution Equipment – a variety of solid and inflatable containment booms (suitable for streams, ponds, rivers and harbours) are available for sale or hire, in addition to oil pumps, skimmers, emergency holding tanks and other specialist products. Products can be delivered and installed if required.

Cleaning Products – we hold a range of proven effective biological cleaning agents and bio-remediation products. A popular product being Hi-Bar LK-301, a kelp based, non-COSHH liquid, ideal for removing oil sheen from roads and surfaces.

Bio-remediation – in addition to our site remediation work, we can supply bio-remediation products and appropriate strategies if required. We can also undertake on-site sampling and offer laboratory analysis.
